Who is Kim So Hee (ALICE)?
Kim So Hee is a former South Korean singer and actress born on December 31, 1999. She gained recognition as a former member of the girl group ALICE, previously known as ELRIS, where she served as the main vocalist, lead dancer, visual, center, and face of the group.
Kim first entered the entertainment industry through her participation in K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance, where she competed as a trainee promoted by JYP Entertainment. As part of the KWINs unit alongside Kriesha Tiu and Kim Hye-rim, she emerged as the runner-up in the competition. Following this achievement, she released her first solo digital single "Spotlight" on May 19, 2017, before officially debuting with ELRIS on June 1, 2017, through their first mini-album "We, First".
Her career with ALICE included a leadership role beginning February 26, 2020, when she was voted by the members to become the group's leader. The leadership position was later transferred to Chaejeong on April 20, 2022. Kim's tenure with the group concluded when her exclusive contract with IOK Company expired in May 2024. Her professional trajectory began when she competed in K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance as an 18-year-old trainee with three years of training experience. Judge Park Jin-young praised her abilities, stating that at her age, no one could dance like her, and expressed his desire for her to pursue a solo career rather than join a girl group. She performed various songs throughout the competition, including "Fallen" by Maia and "Dear No One" by Tori Kelly in the finals.

On April 26, 2024, she announced her marriage to a non-celebrity businessman 15 years her senior, whom she had been dating for one year. Her future husband formerly worked in the entertainment industry. Through a handwritten letter shared on social media, she revealed meeting someone who provided significant support during her journey, stating they had become precious to each other and promised to marry. The couple planned to register their marriage in May, followed by a private ceremony for close friends and family.
She addressed malicious rumors in May 2025, clarifying that she met her husband at a birthday party for someone she had filmed with, firmly denying speculation about meeting at an inappropriate venue. Subsequently, on July 24, 2024, she shared a photograph wearing a pink dress while looking at her husband-to-be, marking the first public glimpse of him. She maintained monthly communication with fans through Instagram following her retirement.
On March 30, 2026, she revealed becoming a mother to a daughter named Rian. She had kept her pregnancy and delivery private, making the announcement particularly surprising.
