Sana/ Sana Minatozaki (TWICE)

Sana attended EXPG (Exile Professional Gym) Osaka branch, a dance and vocal studio where many Japanese idols trained, including some members of E-girls, Generations and The Rampage, from 2009 to early 2012.

After graduating from middle school in March 2012, she moved to South Korea to start her JYP trainee-ship on April 13. 2012 together with TWICE's Momo.

On May 5, 2015, she became a contestant on JYP's newest survival show, SIXTEEN. She finished the survival in 6th place, hence becoming a member of the girl group TWICE. The group officially debuted on October 20, 2015 with their first mini album The Story Begins.

On March 29, 2021, it was announced that Sana and Dahyun were selected as the exclusive models for A’pieu. On March 31, 2022, WAKEMAKE revealed that they have selected Sana as their new muse. On March 6, 2023, Espoir announced Sana as the new muse for their brand. On March 13, 2023, Missha revealed Sana as their new muse. On July 6, 2023, Sana was revealed as Graff's first Japan ambassador.

She is friends with WJSN's Yeonjung and (G)I-DLE's Miyeon.

She ranked 21st in the "100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2017".

In 2019, she had a scandal over mentioning the transition between the Heisei and Reiwa era in Japan on an Instagram post, many people twisted her words and made it seem as if she being insensitive to the Korean netizens that suffered in the hands of Japan. She received a lot of backlash but eventually, gained a lot of support from Once.

In Gallup Korea's annual music poll which interviews 1,500 people between the ages 13–29, she was voted the 17th most popular idol in 2018, which is a tie with her fellow member Jeongyeon and the highest ranked Japanese idol in the history of the poll.

She was nominated for "The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2020".

Her MBTI personality is ENFP-T (Campaigner).

Because of her MBTI, she is the only extrovert in TWICE.

Although she, Momo and Mina hail from the same region of Japan (the Kansai region) and speak the same dialect (the Kansai dialect or Kansai-ben), she is the Japanese member with the strongest accent among the three Japanese members of the group (mainly because she hails from Osaka, and people who are natives of Osaka have the strongest accent among all the natives of the Kansai region).

She is well known for being quite clumsy (she is considered the most clumsy member of TWICE and one of the clumsiest idols in the K-pop industry). Among the many things her clumsiness has caused: she slipped out of her seat during a baseball game, bumped her right leg into a chair during a fan meeting, put her left foot on the floor during a game where that foot couldn't pull over (and losing the game before the game even starts) during one of the episodes of SIXTEEN (the survival reality show responsible for creating TWICE), hit Mina with an umbrella during a snowy day and bumped Tzuyu with her back unintentionally during one of the performances of "Precious Love", among others.
