Korean music charts are sure to embrace this incredible piece. An exquisite ballad by IU, released in the midst of winter? There are few things that can compare to its guaranteed success. As always, IU's vocals are stunning, effortlessly hitting those high notes. Surprisingly, this track showcases a diverse range despite its soft and subtle energy. It feels like a song straight out of a theatrical production - a soothing lullaby infused with the utmost dramatic flair.
I must admit, ballads are not typically my preferred genre. I don't anticipate listening to this song frequently, but I can envision it fitting perfectly within the context of an album. Unlike many other Korean ballads, IU's vocal acrobatics keep me captivated from start to finish. Rather than relying solely on sweeping orchestral arrangements, IU herself becomes the driving force behind the music. This is crucial for a highly anticipated comeback like this one. I'm eagerly looking forward to discovering what she has in store for us on the rest of the album.
