On January 25, 2022, Simon, a former member of the group DMTN, made an announcement about his upcoming venture. He revealed his plans to debut a brand new girl group named XG. Coinciding with this exciting news, the group promptly established their official presence on various social media platforms. The very next day, XG surprised fans with a captivating dance performance teaser. This teaser showcased the incredible talents of all seven members and was thoughtfully choreographed and directed by the esteemed Choi Hyo-jin. 

In the weeks that followed, XG continued to build anticipation and intrigue among their growing fanbase. They tantalized fans with glimpses of their skills through impressive music covers and mesmerizing dance performance videos. On March 18th, XG unveiled their official debut date as February 18th. Over the course of February 19th to February 25th, the seven members of XG were introduced to the public. The unveiling began with Harvey, followed by Juria, Maya, Hinata, Cocona, Chisa, and finally Jurin. XG officially made their debut on March 18th with the release of their first digital single, titled "Tippy Toes".

On June 29th, the group made an exciting announcement of their first-ever comeback. They revealed that they would be releasing a new digital single called "MASCARA". Fans eagerly awaited the release of this single, which finally happened on May 30th.

Maya holds the position of the second youngest member within the XG group. She contributes her skills to the dance line of the group. Maya made her debut with XG in 2022, at the age of 16.
