Park Jisoo (Hangul: 박지수), generally known as Jihyo, was born in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on February 1, 1997. She became well-known as the leader and main vocalist of the JYP Entertainment girl group TWICE.
Jihyo entered a Junior Naver contest for a kid role while she was in third grade. JYP Entertainment scouted her when she finished second. She officially joined the company on July 15, 2005, and was a trainee for over 10 years.
Jihyo debuted as a member of TWICE after appearing as a contestant on the program SIXTEEN in 2015, where she finished fifth.
Jihyo made her composer debut on TWICE's latest album 'Formula of Love.'
