Chu So Jung (추소정), popularly known as EXY, is the Leader, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, and Vocalist of the South Korean-Chinese girl group Cosmic Girls under Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment.

EXY auditioned for JYP in 2008, but did not pass. She later trained for five years under Starship Entertainment before debuting as a part of WJSN. In 2012, EXY was part of the lineup for VIVA Girls, a seven-member girl group under Medialine with other members SeolA, 9MUSES' Kyungri, Dalshabet's Woohee, Stellar's Hyoeun, Hello Venus' Lime, and Kiss&Cry's Soyumi. The group unfortunately never debuted because of financial issues.

EXY was revealed to be a member of WJSN on December 21, 2015 when she took part in a cover of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" along with SeolA, Bona, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Mei Qi and Dayoung, and was later revealed to be a member of its Sweet Unit along with SeolA and Soobin on December 24, 2015 before debuting with the group as the leader and main rapper on February 25, 2016 with their mini-album Would You Like? and the single "MoMoMo".

According to Yeoreum, Exy is the most impatient member.

According to the members, Exy became the leader because she cries a lot. Everyone thought that her strong sensibility would make her the perfect leader for the group.

She writes and composes her own rap.

Exy competed in Unpretty Rapstar 2.

Exy appeared on "King of Masked Singer" as "Daring Woman."

In elementary school Exy was the "king of picky eaters", so in school, they check if you eat all of your food so whenever there were vegetables or mushrooms on her plate she would put them in her pocket to take home and throw away.
