Finally, on June 13, Somi debuted as a soloist with the digital single album "Birthday". On music shows, she also performed the other track, "Outta My Head".

2020: I Am Somi & "What You Waiting For" On March 28, Somi's first solo reality series titled I Am Somi began airing on The Black Label's YouTube channel.[8]  On July 14, she announced she would be making a comeback with a single titled "What You Waiting For".
