Cheng Xiao (성소)

Cheng Xiao (성소) is the main dancer, sub vocalist, visual, and face of the girl group WJSN. She studied traditional Chinese Dance for 10 years while also studying martial arts in Shenzhen. Cheng Xiao left China at a young age to join Starship Entertainment, being told she might not get another chance. Cheng Xiao is also a member of Cosmic Girls' sub-unit 'Wonder'.

On March 3, Starship Entertainment announced that the contracts for members Cheng Xiao, Xuan Yi, and Mei Qi, which were shared with Yue Hua Entertainment in their participation with WJSN, have automatically concluded.

On July 15, 1998 Cheng Xiao was born in Shenzhen, China. Cheng Xiao also has a younger sister named Cheng Chen. In China she took dance lessons for a while when she was young.

On Dec 11, 2015 she was revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group WJSN to be a part of the Wonder Unit, along with members Dayoung and Bona. She debuted with them on Feb 25, 2016 in their debut mini album Would You Like?.

As a dance performance for SBS's Gayo Dajeun her and Luda participated in a modern dance and ballet team with BTS's Jimin, Lovelyz' Yein, along with TWICE's Mina and Momo.

In another special unit called "Sunny Girls" along with GFriend's Eunha, Oh My Girl's YooA, Momoland's Nancy, and Gugudan's Nayoung released a single "Taxi" on Nov 27, 2016 for Inkigayo's Music Crush project.

On September 2017, she was also revealed to participate in upcoming ballet variety show called "Swan Club",[6] which She performed a ballet version of Sunmi's "Gashina".

On December 11, 2017 Cheng Xiao became a mentor on Chinese Idol Producer, along with GOT7's Jackson and PRISTIN's Kyulkyung.

2018-present: Chinese activities, solo debut

In August 20, 2018 she was also confirmed as a MC for new variety show "Pajama Friends" along with Red Velvet's Joy, Song Ji-hy, and Jang Yoon-ju.

On December 28, 2020 she debuted as a soloist on China with her first single "Focus-X".
