Yuju (유주) also known as Choi Yu-na (최유나), is a South Korean singer-songwriter signed to Konnect Entertainment. She has one older sister and was born in Ilsan, South Korea. She began her training at LOEN Entertainment before making her debut as the main vocalist of the group GFRIEND in 2015 under Source Music. Yuju and her other members gained to popularity for their singing and dance abilities, eventually becoming South Korea's most successful performers. Yuju went on to release soundtracks for other dramas, as well as her solo digital single "Love Rain" in 2018.

Yuju left Source Music when GFRIEND suddenly disbanded in May 2021. Yuju was said to have signed Konnect Entertainment for her solo promotions on September 1, 2021.

On January 18, 2022, Yuju made his solo debut with the extended play Rec. and its lead song "Play."

She debuted as a member of GFRIEND on January 16, 2015 with the group's first mini album Season of Glass.

On June 29, 2018, Yuju released her first solo digital single "Love Rain", which featured Suran.

On May 18, Source Music announced that all members of GFRIEND, including Yuju, have decided to not renew their contracts with the agency. They officially disbanded on May 22 after the end of their exclusive six-year contract.

On September 1, it was announced that Yuju has signed an exclusive contract with KONNECT Entertainment as a solo artist.

On January 2, it was announced that Yuju would make her solo debut with her first mini album [Rec.] on January 18.

On April 27, Yuju announced her solo fanclub name would now be known as "LUVU".

On July 21, a teaser was posted which revealed that Yuju would be releasing her third digital single, "Evening", on July 28 which features Big Naughty. Later that same day, MZMC revealed that Yuju is a member of their publishing team as a lyricist.

On February 14, it was announced that Yuju would release her second mini album O on March 7.
