Seohyun (Girls' Generation) born Jun 28th '91

In October 2017, Seohyun left SM Entertainment to pursue acting but promised to always be with her fellow members when needed. She joined Namoo Actors in 2019 to focus on her acting career.

2007: Debut with Girls' Generation

Seohyun debuted as a member of Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007 with the group's first single "Into the New World".

2012: Debut with Girls' Generation-TTS

On April 29, 2012, she debuted as a member of the sub-unit Girls' Generation-TTS with their first mini album Twinkle.

2017: Solo debut, departure from SM Entertainment

She made her solo debut on January 17, 2017 with her first mini album Don't Say No.

On October 9, 2017, SM Entertainment announced that Seohyun, alongside Tiffany and Sooyoung, had decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.

2017–present: New agencies

From 2017 to 2018, Seohyun worked with Sublime Artist Agency for advertisement deals.

On March 6, 2019, Namoo Actors announced that Seohyun had signed on with the agency.

On April 29, 2022, Namoo Actors announced that Seohyun had renewed her contract with them.

Education

She graduated from Jeonju Arts High School in February 2010. For college, she went on to major in theatre acting and graduated from Dongguk University in August 2014.
