Park Chae Young (박채영), better known as Rosé, is a South Korean singer signed to YG Entertainment. She is well known as the lead singer and dancer for the girl group BLACKPINK.

Rosé was born in Auckland, New Zealand on February 11, 1997, but grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She passed the YG Entertainment Australia Audition when she was sixteen years old. As a result, she returned to South Korea and began her career as an official trainee for the agency.

Rosé made her BLACKPINK debut on August 8, 2016, after four years and two months of preparation, and went on to become one of the most well-known artists of her generation.
